Zach was dropped off early for the game with an old mitt. He actually had that old "plasticy" small mitt that has been around forever that he was using that was the only one they could find at home. I'm surprised the coach didn't say anthing about him using it. I guess most of the mitts were at my house, but anyway during the first inning..I brought Shea's mitt as Zach was put in at pitcher. (which speaking of Shea..he is happy to let Zach use his mitt granted he does not lose it):)
SHEA "I noticed zach is wearing MY baseball glove for him to be playing. I dont mind because i love him and want him to be as good as his older brother wearing that mit but please please dont lose it because i am wanting to come home and play for college. I am really wanting to get back into the sport and that is the best mit i have had."
He struck the first guy out..then the next 9 after for the next 3 innings. Noone ever got on base. He was on fire!! He was so funny to watch because he was just chucking the ball up in the air and catching it as the next batter came up. He struck them out..then would strut back to the dugout after each inning!! I wish I had taped the game, because even with one of his ups at bat, the pitcher threw a ball that was straight at him..he lowered his bat and the ball hit the tip and rolled fair. Everyone yelled..."RUN!!" He ran to first and was safe! It was pretty funny. Everyone said.."nice bunt, Zach!" HA HA. Anyways..it was their 4th game and their 4th win!
