Race to Robie Creek-Toughest 1/2 in the Northwest

I can't believe I'm smiling here on my way to
run ..(again) the toughest 1/2 of the northwest.
Yes, that's right..8 1/2 miles uphill in the foothills of
Boise and down the rest of the 13.1 miles down the other side
down into Robie Creek
Before the race, I spotted Mandy from the current Biggest Loser
going on right now. She was bumped off just in the last few weeks, but
will be exciting to see her in the Finale.
BTW, she looks amazing as you can see here.
I found her and asked for a picture, then it didn't save on my phone, therefore
I found her once again like 5 min prior to the race, here in the
porta-potty line. :)
Me, Mike and Kaidree
Mike is owner of Shu's Idaho Running Company
He is a great guy and provides us with jackets, and our
very cool running shirts!
Well, we found her once again after the race!
She must've thought I was totally stalking her, but
she is such an inspiration to many and besides Kaidree
wanted a pic with her!
Funny story here is that the camera didn't save once again after
Mandy's hubby took the picture...so therefore there I go again
chasing her down for yet this other picture.
I'm sure she was glad to get rid of "Beverly the Papparazzi"
Again! Not sure why I'm smiling, but we stood in line
after the festivities for the bus ride back to Spring shores marina
just for us to take yet another bus back to the Shakespears Festival
parking lot where we parked our car.
It was a long ways back and we were obviously feeling the
soreness and quite worn out by this point!
Crazy, but yet more smiles! I think because the race was finally OVER!
