My brother, Rima and his wife Lynn came from Hawaii for a visit during New Years this year. It also happened to be over Lynn's birthday on the 2nd of January. We took them up to Tamarack, Idaho to go skiing and snowboarding. Rima was bound and determined to learn to snowboard, however after a few tumbles he traded in for the skiis. Lynn, on the other hand persevered and learned to snowboard in which Shea was her teacher. Just at the end of the day, when she had gotten the hang of it, she suffered a fall and landed herself in the Tamarack village urgent care and learning that she had broken her wrist. The joke of the day was that the "hawaiians" should just stick to surfing on the water and not boarding on snow. Rima later slipped and fell while walking down to the vehicles and injured his ankle. Back to the beautiful, warm Hawaii they went never to return...at least maybe during the snowy wintry months in Idaho. We enjoyed having them visit and the kids enjoyed their time as well with them.
